House of Representatives prepare to vote on next COVID relief bill

The House of Representatives is preparing to vote on the next COVID-19 relief bill as soon as Friday. From there, the bill will move to the Senate where President Biden’s plan to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour is in jeopardy of being in the final bill. Former Border Patrol agent advocating for migrant rights

Jenn Budd, an immigration activist who used to work as a Border Patrol agent, is speaking out against the agency and its alleged abuses. She began working for the U.S Border Patrol, which operates under U.S. Customs and Border Protection, in the 1990s. Budd joins CBSN’s Lana Zak to discuss why she ultimately decided to leave the agency after six years in her post. Source
