Cosmopolitan to report on midterms with focus on womens issues

Cosmopolitan is launching “Cosmo Votes,” a project focusing on issues the magazine believes are crucial to women in the 2014 midterm elections. The magazine will have reporters covering the races and will also make endorsements, just like newspapers. Cosmo’s editor-in-chief Joanna Coles joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss the project. From combat to catwalk: Veterans hit runway at New York Fashion Week preview

The 14 female troopers took the stage in “Salute the Runway,” which was attended by industry stars including Bobbi Brown and Lauren Hutton. Designers like Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and Betsey Johnson donated dresses for the runway show, bringing awareness to veterans’ struggle to transition from military to civilian life.
