Are Ear Buds Bad

Kids use them in the car to listen to music, watch movies, and play games. Commuters use them for hands free chatting while driving, or listening to books on a long train ride, and no one goes to the gym without music. That noise right in your ear day after day could be damaging your hearing.  Hearing loss among teens today is 30% higher than teens in the ’80s and ’90s, and it’s all because of technology. Be diligent about limiting your kids’ earbud use.  Don’t let kids listen to the volume above 60% and only for an hour at a time!
