Arab Americans react to President Trump’s idea for the U.S. to develop Gaza Strip

Residents in Dearborn, Michigan, near Detroit, are reacting to President Trump’s comments about “taking over” the Gaza Strip. Dearborn has the highest percentage of Arab Americans of any U.S. city. In 2024, more voters cast a ballot for Trump than Harris in the historically democratic city. Source
