U.S. Soccer claims male players have “more responsibility” than females

New court documents reveals that U.S. Soccer claims women should not get paid as much as men because they argue that male players carry “more responsibility” and their job “requires a higher level of skill” than their female counterparts. A spokesperson for the U.S. national women’s team called the argument plain sexism. The women’s team filed a lawsuit against U.S. Soccer in March. Source
