Gender-based violence and attacks against foreigners grip South Africa

Activists in South Africa are protesting a wave of violence against women after several women were recent raped and brutally murdered. South African president Cyril Ramaphosa vowed to implement stronger measures against attackers. He also said at least 10 people had been killed in attacks targeting foreigners.
