Oberlin College president responds to $44 million defamation lawsuit

Oberlin College president Carmen Twillie Ambar says the school shouldn’t be held responsible for student speech after it was ordered by a jury to pay $44 million to a local bakery in Oberlin, Ohio. The lawsuit was filed by the bakery after student protesters accused the shop of racial profiling. Source
