How the NYPD plans to protect the 2.5 million people attending “World Pride”

As millions gather for tomorrow’s march at “World Pride,” recent security scares at big events are fresh on New Yorkers minds. A crowd of 2.5 million is expected to line the parade route, and about 150,000 marchers are expected to participate in the LGBTQ celebration.
