Originally, his plan was to go into advertising, but John got his first taste of radio back in the late 90’s when he met the owner of a locally-owned station. John asked if they were looking for on-air personalities and, shortly after, he was on the late-night shift a couple of nights a week. From there, he jumped around, doing radio in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Minnesota. And now he’s behind the microphone helping the Upper Cumberland roll through the afternoon with lots of great music!
John and his wife Kayse are owned by their two cats, Willie and Walter, who are in way too many smartphone pictures. Seriously. It’s kind of embarrassing.
